Experimental treatments
for IgaN
BHV-1400
BHV-1400 is an experimental therapy being tested as a targeted treatment for immunoglobulin A nephropathy. Delivered via under-the-skin injections, it is designed to lower levels of disease-driving antibodies. BHV-1400 is in Phase 3 testing.
Felzartamab
Felzartamab is an experimental antibody-based therapy being tested for IgAN. Given via infusions into the bloodstream, it is designed to deplete the immune cells that produce abnormal antibodies in this chronic kidney condition.
HSK39297
HSK39297 is an oral complement inhibitor that is being tested as a potential treatment for immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN). It works to suppress an immune pathway believed to contribute to kidney damage in IgAN. HSK39297 is in Phase 3 testing for IgAN.
Mezagitamab
Mezagitamab is an experimental antibody-based therapy in clinical testing for immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN). Delivered via under-the-skin injection, it is designed to lower the number of the immune cells that produce abnormal antibodies in IgAN.
Povetacicept
Povetacicept is an experimental therapy being tested as a potential treatment for immunoglobulin A nephropathy. Delivered via under-the-skin injections, it is designed to inhibit two signaling molecules that may contribute to abnormal antibody production in the disease.
Sefaxersen
Sefaxersen is an experimental under-the-skin injection therapy being developed as a potential treatment for immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN). It works by inhibiting the complement cascade, an immune component believed to contribute to kidney damage in IgAN. Sefaxersen is in Phase 3 testing for people with IgAN.
Telitacicept
Telitacicept is an injectable therapy being developed to treat immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN). It is designed to lower levels of signaling molecules that may contribute to abnormal antibody production in IgAN. The therapy is conditionally approved in China for IgAN, and is in Phase 3 clinical testing in the U.S.
Zigakibart
Zigakibart is an experimental antibody-based therapy being tested as a potential treatment for immunoglobulin A nephropathy. Delivered via under-the-skin injections, the medication is designed to inhibit a signaling molecule called APRIL that may be involved in the abnormal antibody production that drives kidney problems in the disease.
